Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty Delivers Benchmark Sales Performance In 2023

By RSIR Staff | February 20, 2024

Executives from Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty (RSIR) announced today the results of annual sales benchmarks comparing the top ten largest brands by sales volumes in 2023. RSIR continued to lead numerous categories in average sales values on both sides of the transactions, as well as greater production and more inventory on a per-agent basis while selling quicker than their peers.

“Once again, our global real estate advisors have demonstrated their ability to out-perform their peers on at least ten significant sales benchmarks that matter most to consumers,” said Dean Jones, President & CEO of Realogics, Inc. “As a relatively boutique brokerage firm, these are truly impressive accomplishments despite a challenging year in our industry, and the statistics speak to the company we keep, the clients we serve, and the results we create together one sale at a time.”

Jones cited statistics based upon Trendgraphix research, which aggregates data published by the Northwest Multiple Listing Service (NWMLS) as follows (RSIR production only, not aggregated with other brand affiliates in NWMLS):

  • #1 – Top producing Sotheby’s International Realty affiliate in Washington (72% of SIRA Sales)

  • #1 – The highest per agent productivity ($7,078,500 or 187% of average)

  • #1 – The highest percentage of producing agents (85% or 125% of average)

  • #1 – The fewest days on market (26 days or 26% quicker than average)

  • #1 – The highest average listing price sold ($1,374,500 or 189% of average)

  • #1 – The highest average buyer price purchased ($1,285,500 or 177% of average)

  • #1 – The highest average listing prices active ($1,710,500 or 210% of average)

  • #1 – The highest average commissions earned (2.70% or 104% of average)

  • #1 – The highest resale inventory volume per agent ($1,136,000 or 382% of average)

  • #1 – The highest new construction inventory per brand ($1,000,000,000+)

According to Trendgraphix research January 1 through December 31, 2023, based on NWMLS data (adjustments required for off-market transactions) with averages compared to the top ten largest brands (excluding RSIR). E&OE.

While it’s true RSIR manages the fewest number of licensed agents compared to their immediate peers, this collective is notably the most productive, especially in the luxury market segments. With 275 agents, RSIR ranks third in King County for resales above $2 million, second in Kitsap County above $1 million, and leads the market in new construction inventory throughout the Puget Sound Region.

RSIR agents were nearly balanced with 54% of sales volumes representing sellers and 46% representing buyers. In addition to local sales, RSIR agents also made scores of significant referrals throughout North America and internationally.

“We are so fortunate to work with many of the top real estate agents in the industry and RSIR is often associated with record sales values in the region,” added Jones. “It has been rewarding to see top performers who already dominate certain neighborhoods expand their horizons to make valuable referrals for their clients in other markets represented by the Sotheby’s International Realty brand around the world.”
